                      PREPOSITION

A preposition is a word or group of words used before a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase to show direction, time, place, location, spatial relationships, or to introduce an object. Some examples of prepositions are words like "in," "at," "on," "of," and "to."

Here are the 6 rules for prepositions:
  • Rule 1- Prepositions must have an object.
  • Rule 2- Must be placed before.
  • Rule 3- The Pronoun following the Preposition should be an object form.
  • Rule 4- Prepositions form.
  • Rule 5- Do not confuse preposition 'to' with infinitive 'to'
  • Rule 6- A Verb cannot be an object of a preposition.
