  POEM - MACAVITY -THE MYSTERY CAT Macavity -The Mystery Cat Summary in English Macavity is a fictional character and depicts the actions of the crooks . He is also known as 'Hidden Paw'. He is a notorious criminal, spy, and a trickster and openly disobeys the laws. Macavity is a mastermind and leaves no evidence after committing the crime.  Poetic/literary devices have been used in the poem Macavity the Mystery Cat Personification : Personification is giving human characteristics to animals or non-living things. Here in the poem, Macavity is personified as he does all the things like humans. Anaphora : It is the repetition of a phrase in a poem. In the poem various words and phrases are repeated to create poetic effect. e.g.  “Macavity, Macavity”, “Macavity’s not there”  etc. Alliteration : It is the repetition of consonant sound in the line. e.g.  “ M acavity’s  M ystery”,  “h ead is  h ighly”, “ s ide to  s ide” etc. Symbolism : The poet u...

                      PREPOSITION A preposition is a word or group of words used before a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase  to show direction, time, place, location, spatial relationships, or to introduce an object . Some examples of prepositions are words like "in," "at," "on," "of," and "to." Here are the 6 rules for prepositions: Rule 1- Prepositions must have an object. Rule 2- Must be placed before. Rule 3- The Pronoun following the Preposition should be an object form. Rule 4- Prepositions form. E - CONTENT  Electronic content (e-content) which is also known as digital content refers to the content or information delivered over network based electronic devices or that is made available using computer network such as internet. According to Oxford dictionary ‘e-content is the digital text and images designed to display on web pages’. Like wise  a class was taken using e-content method.
